On August 20, the "7th China Wind Power Aftermarket Exchange and Cooperation Conference & 2020 China Offshore Wind Power Operation and Maintenance Special Forum" was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Jenmour New Energy Co., Ltd., as a member organization, was invited to attend the event.
At the meeting, company representatives kept "grasping new industry trends and staying ahead of emerging market directions" as their primary goal, actively seeking valuable insights from the event. During the session, wind power experts shared their international perspectives on the evolving trends in China's wind power aftermarket and the offshore wind operations and maintenance market. Meanwhile, the Wind Power Machinery Branch of the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association unveiled its "China Wind Power Aftermarket Development Report (2019–2020)," offering a comprehensive analysis of aftermarket dynamics along with innovative solutions.
According to expert reports and analysis, as of the end of June 2020, China’s cumulative installed wind power capacity reached 217 million kilowatts, including 210 million kilowatts of onshore wind power and 6.99 million kilowatts of offshore wind power. Meanwhile, with the continuous expansion of total installed capacity, the amount of wind power installations connected to the grid for more than five years has also climbed to 100 million kilowatts. Given the standard five-year warranty period typically offered in the industry, the full operational and maintenance costs for wind farms after their warranty expires are estimated at 120 to 150 yuan per kilowatt. By 2020, this translates to a nationwide post-service market size ranging from 12 to 15 billion yuan. When factoring in additional service offerings—such as intelligent monitoring platforms for wind assets, advanced wind power generation forecasting systems, and programs like replacing older turbine units with newer models—China’s overall wind energy services market is expected to surpass 20 billion yuan in value.
During the conference, our company’s representatives actively sought collaborative opportunities across multiple sectors and engaged in meaningful exchanges and thorough discussions with attending delegates and industry experts. After the event concluded, we promptly convened a special meeting involving R&D engineers and marketing professionals to carefully study the "China Wind Power Aftermarket Development Report (2019-2020)." Building on this, we established a dedicated 750-kW turbine project team focused specifically on advancing new technologies and exploring fresh market opportunities in the wind power aftermarket—aiming to create additional revenue streams and strengthen the company’s profitability.
This conference will help strengthen communication and collaboration between our company and industry peers in the wind power operations and maintenance sector, fostering technological advancements and business growth for our company in the wind power aftermarket. It will also pave the way for establishing new business relationships with potential clients, laying a solid foundation for deeper exchanges and future partnerships.
