Chongqing University Microgrid Project

The Chongqing University Microgrid Project is a high-tech research initiative funded by China's Ministry of Science and Technology. It primarily addresses safety and operational challenges—such as shutdowns—caused by ice accumulation on wind turbine blades in extremely harsh environmental conditions. Jenmour New Energy has innovated the design of wind turbines by incorporating an advanced blade-heating system, marking significant progress in mitigating the risks posed by ice buildup on turbine blades during snowy and icy weather.

Shanghai University of Electric Power Microgrid Project

The 330kW wind turbine unit at Shanghai University of Electric Power is part of an intelligent microgrid integrating wind, solar, and energy storage systems, designed by the State Grid Energy Conservation Design Institute specifically for Shanghai University. Located in the Lingang New Area of Shanghai, the project sits 30 km from the coastline. The site features a foundation built on impact-formed sandy beaches with a high groundwater table—water seeps to the surface within just 2 meters below ground level. To address challenges like foundation settlement and the region’s soft, water-saturated soil, the project employs eight 600mm-diameter, 35-meter-deep tubular piles, effectively stabilizing the structure and ensuring long-term durability.

Guizhou University Microgrid Project

Due to the consistently low wind speeds in the location, low-wind-speed turbine models were selected based on the environmental conditions of the installation area. This ensures that the turbines can generate electricity efficiently even at low wind speeds, maximizing their power output.

Zhuhai Dashan Island Smart Microgrid Project

This grid project comprises a 300kW photovoltaic system, a 30kW ocean energy system, an 800kW diesel generator system, and the 100kW wind turbine units we’ve developed. In this system engineering project, based on the island’s existing grid infrastructure and load conditions, we’ve implemented wind turbine DC grid-connection technology, enabling a significant technological breakthrough even in small-scale microgrids. Our company has accumulated extensive experience in offshore transportation, as well as crane operations on islands with challenging natural environments, laying a solid foundation for island-based power supply, power generation, and energy storage projects.
